Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How is my advertising presented?

A: Your advertising is displayed both on the napkin boxes (placed on food retailers counter to target customers while they wait for their meal) PLUS the napkin targeting customers during their meal. Our NapkinAd Stands target customers as they enter and leave the food mall (please note Stands only available in certain locations).

Q: Will the ink come off onto customers?

A: The ink instantly dries after printing and becomes part of the napkin molecules. Therefore the ink will not come off, smudge or lighten, even if placed in a glass of water.

Q: Why is food mall advertising good for my business?

A: Food malls are located within prime shopping districts and target customers with time to act on their purchasing impulses. In prime city locations, NapkinAd directly targets the hard to reach business consumer in a direct and innovative way and you will have tens of thousands of office workers taking your napkins back to their desk each day. Therefore with a computer in front of them NapkinAd offers you a powerful branding opportunity to drive consumers to your website.

Q: Will NapkinAd improve my market share?

A: We believe that napkin advertising has the ability to effectively increase corporate branding and customer awareness in a very short time. NapkinAd offers you a direct advertising medium that is seen by customers during a period (i.e. lunch) when they have time to act on their purchasing impulses. Therefore, we believe NapkinAd can build your companies market share.  The goal of advertising is to creatively captivate a consumer for as long a period as possible.  NapkinAd fits into the daily life of every consumer and your message will be in their hands for over 15 minutes. By directly and innovatively targeting a large consumer base for an extended period of time, NapkinAd will effectively assist in improving market share.

Q: Compared to other food mall advertisers why is NapkinAd more effective?

A: Napkin advertising reaches each individual that enters the food court. It is not limited to those that sit at tables or merely walk by; it reaches everyone on a personal level. And there is nothing more effective than a customer that holds, walks and talks about your ad. For those who leave the centre, not only does the advertisement walk with them, they become your own personal billboard, displaying your message in offices, parks and other popular venues.

Q: I am unsure about the concept of people wiping their mouths on my logo. What have you done about this?

A: We know this is an important concept, therefore we place the advertising only on the bottom half of the napkin - therefore customers should never “use” your logo.  NapkinAd therefore provides brilliant placement, putting your advertising directly in front of your customers without appearing overbearing or cluttered.
